“Guru Samarpanam” – Nov17th & 18th 2018 – Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt, Kanchi.
With the Divine Blessings of His Holinesses of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam the trust is running various patashalas across India successfully. The trust has planned an event to bring all these patashalas students under one roof to be present in Kanchi. On the specified dates of Nov 17 & 18th 2018 all the students will gather at the said venue with the theme of the event named as “Guru Samarpanam”.
The motto of the event is to engage students from various patashalas getting to know each other along with gaining world knowledge through interaction with various technical experts. Imagine the Great Hall filled with 800+ excited children from our Integrated Pātashalas! This wonderful congregation will happen on Nov 17-18, 2018 at the Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Kānchipuram. The children will showcase their talents, put up exhibits for us to enjoy, and be delighted if we took interest to ask them about their projects. The keynote speakers, cultural legends, Mullaivasal R. Krishnamurthy Sastrigal and Smt. Vishakha Hari will give special lectures. There will be special expositions on entrepreneurship using cow-products and demonstrations on how to make kumkum and kājal! This event is sure to be extremely exciting. His Holiness Shri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamiji will address those present on the 17th at the opening ceremonies and on the 18th, at the closing.

Release of “THE HOLY SANKARA MUTT” 2nd Edition at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt
With the divine blessings of His Holiness Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal the trust released the second edition of our prestigious coffee table book “The Holy Sankara Mutt” in the presence of Kalavai Sachidanandha Swamigal. The copy of the book was also presented to our Managing Trustee K.Jayaramakrishnan and ex Vice Chairman CTS Shri.N.Lakshminarayanan in the Sankara Mutt Kanchipuram.
The book traces the lineage and highlights the greatness of the 70 gurus or Acharyas who have ably guided the Mutt and its followers, keeping them steady on the path of Dharma. The Coffee Table Book also details the activities of the Mutt – elaborating on their dedication to social causes, providing modern education with traditional values, ensuring good quality healthcare and reviving the Hindu traditions. There is a snapshot of the life of Adi Sankara in the form of illustrations with captions. The book is a good mix of text and photographs, making it pleasing to read through even while experiencing spiritual upliftment.
